A real showstopper, with seven rows of turquoise and coral beads strung together with the addition of silver beads. This tribal necklace is from Ladakh which is in the northern part of the Indian subcontinent, specifically in the high-altitude plateau region of the Himalayas and Karakoram mountain ranges, and is administered as a union territory by India. Beautiful ceremonial necklace and all handmade.
Sabah - is a collection of hand picked jewelry through the ages, each piece reflective of craftsmanship and design, each a timeless treasure. Her love for Jewelry and design began very early in childhood with precious moments sitting with her grandmothers playing with jewelry and listening to stories or dressing her dolls with multiple fabrics and textiles. She went on to study Fashion from India, Florence, and Philadelphia. These diverse cultures only broadened her horizons. Her passion for jewelry saw her travel to parts of India. Hand picking antiques, from intricate tribal pieces to cherished heirlooms.
